☀️ Beat the Heat, Big Horn County! ☀️
As the July temperatures climb, keeping your body cool and hydrated is our top priority. Heat exhaustion can sneak up fast whether you’re working the fields, out on the river, or enjoying a backyard BBQ.
Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion:
- Heavy sweating and muscle cramps
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Headache or nausea
- Cool, pale, or clammy skin
What to do: Move to an air-conditioned space, drink water slowly, and cool down with damp cloths.
🚨 When it’s an Emergency: If someone is confused, loses consciousness, or has hot, red, dry skin, call 911 immediately. It could be heat stroke.
Stay safe, look out for your neighbors, and keep that water bottle handy! 💦
